The companies organizer Patrick was wonderful to communicate with leading up to our trip. I had planned this trip to surprise my parents who had never visited Cambodia. The selection of tours that Patrick suggested was a great mix of things to see, and when a small problem arose involving a tour guide that is outside of his company, he solved it quickly and with great attention to us as clients. His own tour guides who his company trains are by far the best! I would highly suggest you visit the floating village and do the cooking class that the company organizes…it was by far the highlight of our trip!!! I would also suggest doing half day tours for each day instead of full days if you are visiting during hot periods. 44+ degrees was just too hot to enjoy and take in all of the information from the guides. Half days really helped! Thank you so very much Cambodia jeep/Cambodian Travel Partner for all of your help!

We zijn weer terug van een wat ons betreft zeer succesvolle reis. Alles klopte, en als iets dreigde mis te gaan werd adequaat opgetreden. De gidsen vonden we goed tot zeer goed, vooral onze excursie in Phnom Phen maakte veel indruk, mede omdat de gids het allemaal zelf aan den lijve ondervonden had. De verschillende accommodaties bevielen ons prima, met Sonalonga en Lazy Beach als uitschieters. Lazy Beach was inderdaad uiterst lazy, maar wel met een prima keuken. Al moet gezegd worden: de Loc Lac bij Father’s was de beste die we in Cambodja geproefd hebben. Dank voor de voorbereiding, je snelle reacties bij onduidelijkheden of zaken die niet helemaal goed verliepen (zoals die ene pick-up) en je informatie toen we van Koh Rong Samploem afkwamen. Het was een zeer fraaie afsluiting van een fraaie reis.

Das Beste

Das Beste war die gute Organisation und die persönliche Betreuung durch Andre Ruys und seiner frau Lily. Es war immer ein bisschen Abenteuer dabei und doch sicher. Die Guides vor Ort waren ausgezeichnet ausgesucht. Besonders hervor zu heben ist Min Thol, der uns so durch Angkor führte, dass wir glauben konnten wir wären die Einzigen dort.

Die Nachteile

Sihanoukville ist etwas für Party People, wir gehören nicht dazu, ich mache aber niemand Vorwürfe, wir hätten uns das selbst denken können, dass es in einem Badeort auch in der Nacht laut sein kann. Wenn wir vorher daran gedacht hätten wäre sicher eine Änderung in einen ruhigeren Ort möglich gewesen.

The guide well, a little more Spanish could do, but friendly, correct and without wanting to sell shops, restaurants etc .. which is appreciated. I’ll repeat with him as a guide. The hotel fine, spacious rooms, good breakfast, very attentive employees, more than correct pool; looks pretty new.

The jeep transport is very good, because it takes you out of the road to go down paths, perfectly studied, with the disadvantage that swallow all the dust of Cambodia, for us no problem. In exchange the views of rice paddies and village visits compensate dust.

All transfers, meals, excursions, circus, bike ride etc….were carried out without any problems. Very nice and recommended trip.

After nearly 2 working weeks back in Germany (at the moment -2 °C) there was no day without thinking about Cambodia and the unforgettable Lotos-Rallye. We really enjoy looking the nice pictures you sent to us.

Many thanks (Lily? 😉 ) for the wonderful selection of the photos. We can imagine that it took much time to prepare it for us.

We hope that everything is fine in Siem Reap (or at Pepper Hill) and we need to know the harvest time for our „holiday schedule“ 😉

By the way, our Buddha is permanent watching us (and he helps finding my inner balance, annotation Rita).

Again, thank you so much for the good time in Cambodia, for your great engagement and your helpfulness.

Kaum zu glauben, nun bin ich – zumindest physisch – schon wieder zuhause!

Kambodscha ist ein aufregendes Land, ich habe dort unvergessliche Tage erlebt, die ich u.a. auch Ihnen (resp. Cambodian Travel Partner) verdanke.

Vielen Dank nochmals für die zuverlässige Organisation und Betreuung, alles hat wunderbar geklappt.

Ein Höhepunkt waren u.a. die Tage in Wat Opot, in dem Waisenhaus, wo Luise ein freiwilliges soziales Jahr leistet. – In Siem Reap erst erfuhr ich von dem Missverständnis, Luise sei mein „kambodschanisches“ Patenkind. Sorry!

My friend and I were picked up by one of your jeeps today and taken up to Mount Phnom Koulen. I just wanted to say a massive thank you! It was the best day we have had so far! You mentioned that our driver only had basic English and there was no English speaking tour guide available, however he was very polite, informative and helpful! It truly was an amazing experience!

We booked at such late notice (last night) and you were able to organise everything so quickly and efficiently. Thank you so much for such a wonderful day 🙂

We will definitely be recommending this service to everyone we know coming to Cambodia.

We had a trip in Cambodia in November and December this year. I want to say thank you. It was a great trip. We had seen a lot. The organization was perfect. We have learned Cambodia is a lovely country with nice people and big sights.
