Thank you so much for your kind greeting-mail from Cambodia.

It’s really unbelievable how quick time is going on…And before Christmans so many things have to be completed.

But one thing I can say and tell you: we spent an amazing time together in Cambodia. Thank you both so much for your phantastic and great engagement. The organisation was perfect and your very personal kindness impressed us very much. It will take us some more time to get the right distance to all we saw in your beautiful country. Only after that I will be able to start with my photo book…

Enjoy Sylvester and new year and have a splendid start in a hopefully good new year!

Also jedenfalls nocheinmal vielen Dank fürs Organisieren. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Reise, wunderbare Hotels und Lily u. André sind einfach aus Gold. So bemüht, so kompetent, wir haben uns immer wohl und sicher gefühlt. Ganz besonders war der Aufenthalt in Siem Reap mit dem unvergleichlichen Angkor Wat. Dort hätte ich es noch viel länger ausgehalten. Dann ging’s weiter mit dem nächsten Highlight, nämlich die Bootsfahrt nach Battambang. Vorbei an den Naturreservaten ( sogar einen Graupelikan haben wir gesehen)’, an all den Dörfern und Fischern. Battambang besonders sehenswert die Lodge von L u. A! Dann Phnom Phen. So eine sympathische asiatische Großstadt, wunderbare Restaurants, Pagoden, eine Wimper von Buddha, der Mekong und das überaus sympathische Hotel Lanka!

Dann ging’s weiter in den Süden. Sihanoukvile kann man vergessen, aber die Strände dort sind immer noch, wenn man ein bißchen sucht, wie aus einem Traumbuch”Paradies”! Kilometerlange einsame Strände mit Sand wie Mehl, Palmen u. Kleine Restaurants. Wunschloses Glück!Schreib das mit meinem i-pad, daher die vielen Fehler, das macht nämlich was es will! Jedenfalls danke für deine Connection zu Lily und Andre.

I have finally arrived home from my travels in SE Asia. I had such an amazing time. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I fell in love with Cambodia. The tours you arranged and the tour guides you provided for me were absolutely incredible. I was SO sad when I left cambodia, I had tears running town my face when I went into the airport. Cambodia is such a wonderful place, I miss it so much.

Thank you so much for all what you have done for us. It was so great to see the village and the Vishnutemple with you. Again many thanks to Lily to carry me up and downhill. The journey by boat to Battambang was so great. We even saw pelican. And all the life on on the river. A great experience. We saw your hotel in Battambang.

So beautiful and so sorry we could not stay there. A special place.we have been In the south and found there again wonderful calm places and paradise was so close. Now we are again in Phnom Penh and tomorrow we will return to Vienna, with the good feeling having seen a beautiful country with so nice people in it.

Nog even een kort bericht om je te bedanken voor de organisatie van onze korte tour door Cambodja! Mijn ouders en ik hebben er erg van genoten en alles was goed georganiseerd. De eerste reisdag, van Siem Reap naar Kratie, was wat aan de lange kant maar dat waren we al snel vergeten toen we op zoek gingen naar de rivierdolfijnen.

Een speciaal compliment verdienen overigens je lokale gidsen in zowel Kratie als Mondulkiri. Beide gidsen waren zeer kundig, vriendelijk en sprake uitstekend Engels. Ik heb in de afgelopen jaren toch best wel wat van Azië gezien, en ben heel wat gidsen tegengekomen die niet eens in de buurt komen van deze twee. Die moet je er dus zeker bij zien te houden!

After a wonderful and impressive trip I’m back to normal life again and for one week already busy in preparing for my kitchen renovation.

I would like to thank you for your excellent support and guidance which made our trip a special one. Cambodia is really a country to travel more often, and this is what also Catherine said. As a result: we will come back and look forward to a new experience, the Jeep Rallye next January. Kind regards from the two of us.

We are back to China now. here I attach the pictures when we were in Cambodia with you. I really appreciate your warmly host and guide to us for a wonderful Cambodia countryside culture day tour. It is impressed, I am even looking forward to the Jeep tour next time. Father’s restaurant is excellent, too. We enjoyed the time with you all.

Just a short note to let you know that I’m very happy with the trip you arranged! The time I spent in Angkor Wat and the other temples was great. I was hard to say goodbye to all those nice spots. The home stay was special and in complete contrast with the Battambang Resort I’m in now!

Many thanks already for the great moments I’ve had already the last week, and for sure there are more to come.
